True Grit was all right, it wasn’t bad – and that’s the best criticism I can give the film.
The Fighter was painful to watch, but the acting was very strong.
Black Swan was a masterpiece of filmmaking and acting – Natalie Portman has won awards for her role right? Some of the special effects were distracting, but they were kept to a minimum (except towards the end). As far as editing is concerned I thought it was flawless.
The Town was a solid crime thriller. (I could make a better one, though)
Tron Legacy was all that I could hope for – it expanded upon the idea of living inside a computer world, being the God of your creation and watching it turn against you. Exciting!
